Job

We are doing a small group study on the book of Job. One of our members shared this video on suffering. How appropriate? My prayer is that when Chris and I go through trials only God is glorified. We talked this week that it is NOT about me but that there is a much larger story that we are apart of. This was the last few sentences of this week's session:
 "Trust Me--I know the outcomes, even the painful ones and how they fit together in eternity.  You may perform many big and small acts of heroism in your lifetime. Or you may not use what I have given you. I leave that for you to decide".

Grocery Store Fun!

I had to take Hannah to the doctor this morning. She woke up at 5a.m. crying that her ear was hurting. It turned out to be fluid and wax that is hard as a rock in her ear. Wonderful! I needed to grab a couple of things at the grocery store and we learned that Lucy likes to sit in the car as much as Hannah! They were quite the pair.

I meant to get these pictures on the blog yesterday and didn't have time. We gave Hannah her flight suit purse after Chris got home last Saturday. You can't tell from the picture but she was SUPER excited and she LOVES that it is made out of Chris' flight suit.  Someone asked her if she got a new purse (because she has to take it everywhere) and she says, "no, it's daddy's flight suit".  She is taking it with her today to Mom's Morning Out.

She really does like it. She wouldn't smile for the camera.
