Awana Fun

It seems like just a few months ago that I was talking to Jessica (in the green) about Awana and how I was so excited for Hannah to be apart of this awesome program. Jessica sadly told me that our church wasn't sure if we would be having Awana this year but after lots of parental support and the wonderful leadership of Drew and Lynn Dobry (far left) Awana was reunited at PDBC.
 We have had a great year and over 30 kids completed their books and some even went back and reviewed the entire book before tonight. Hannah and her friends in Cubbies memorized over 24 verses.
 The above picture is of Lynn, Jessica and Mallory gettied pied. Each child who completed their books got to put a pie in one of the leader's faces.
 Can't wait for next year!

Sisters

I can't remember a time without my sister. There is not a single memory before Lindsay was born. I pray that it will be that way with Hannah and Lucy. I was checking email and peeked into the playroom to see both girls laying down on their stomachs kicking their feet. Hannah was doing something and Lucy was copying. They are really playing more together now and it is so much fun to watch. Just reminds me of all the days Lindsay and I played together. I hope and pray that they will be as close through the years as we were.

Easter 2012

We started Upward Soccer this week. Hannah did fairly well and I will try to get video posted. She has games every Saturday for the next 5 weeks so hopefully next week will go even better.

Bluebonnets

Texas Bluebonnets are the place to be right now. Everyone wants to take pictures in the Texas State Flowers. Hannah even learned that it is against the law to pick them--not sure if this is myth or fact.
