Our weekend
Yes, the girls are in fleece and sweatshirts and it is Memorial Day weekend. I had high hopes of warm 70's and grilling out but no such luck. On Saturday the high was around 65.
I cut my finger chopping vegetables. It took about 2 hours to get the bleeding to stop. It was crazy. Hannah was enjoying sitting beside me, as I laid on the floor, playing doctor. Chris was putting tons of pressure on my pointer finger while putting pressure on my wrist with his other hand. Fortunately, Lucy was totally content to sit and watch. After we got that settled and girls down for a nap our neighbors hit the gas line between our houses. We had to get the girls up from their nap and go outside for about 45 minutes. Needless to say, no naps.
Sunday it was 45 and raining! Yuck. The sun came out today for a little bit but mainly rainy.
We enjoyed having Chris home for 4 days but back to the real world tomorrow.
My half-marathon is on Sunday and then we will drive to the lake house in Alabama. We will be home for 2 weeks. We are really looking forward to the trip and I'm excited about my race.
